Westerly is ideally placed on St Bride’s Bay, 100m from the sandy cove of Nolton Haven and just a few minutes’ walk from the breath-taking Pembrokeshire coastal path. The beach is mainly sand with rock pools to explore and there is a life guard station in the summer.  Only a mile away is the 2 mile long beach at Newgale which is great for surfing and other sea-based sports.

Nolton Haven has a quiet village setting but with all-year-round outdoor activities.  For the active visitor  there is swimming, surfing, walking, riding, bird watching, kayaking, coasteering, zorbing, Segway, kite surfing, fishing and more, all within a mile of Westerly.

Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do: numerous castles, the cathedral city of St David’s, picturesque coastal villages such as Porthgain and Solva (perfect for crabbing), an Iron Age encampment, art galleries and more. Of course there are plenty of beaches to suit: sandy or pebbly ones, secluded or easily accessible, rock pools, enough to keep everyone happy.
