Eating Out

The Mariners is the village pub just a minute away and has a classic pub menu.  Check out the stuffed albatross –  in the glass case in the bar, not on the menu!

The Haven Brasserie is next to the Mariners and serves superior food at a reasonable price.  It gets booked up pretty quickly in school holidays so it may be worth booking it before you get to Westerly!

The Druidstone Hotel is 5 minutes drive away or a beautiful 25 minute walk along the coastal path. With spectacular views across St Brides bay , meals and drinks from the restaurant and bar can be taken inside or out but you may need to be a member, check before going.

Newgale beach has a cafe at both ends, Sands to the North in New Surf shop and The Pebbles to the south.

Further afield there are plenty of other places. Our favorites include Pebbles cafe and St David’s Kitchen in St David’s, Ultracomida in Narberth, The Coast in Saundersfoot and The Shed in Porthgain.
No visit would be complete without a visit to Gianni’s in St David’s to choose an amazing icecream.

Eating In

Should you choose to make your own meals, the kitchen is well equipped and has a cooker and microwave.  There are cookery books to inspire.
